Att. The very popular Frigidaire FAD704TDP Dehumidifier has slowly been phased out and is no longer available since April/May 2012. It has however, been substituted by the NEW Frigidaire FAD704DUD model which is the current 70 pint dehumidifier unit that replaces the FAD704TDP in the Frigidaire range.

The new FAD704DUD maintains all the excellent features of the FAD704TDP model, while adding some improvements that include: A more compact design (weighs 1 pound less and is a little smaller in size), a higher air flow (CFM), a more user-friendly Electronic Controls Panel and is a little less noisy, according to many Customer Reviews, which also includes a very helpful Video Review.

Besides the improvements mentioned above, everything else is identical, so the Dehumidifier review (below) of the “no longer available” Frigidaire FAD704TDP still applies to the new model, Frigidaire FAD704DUD 70 pint Dehumidifier, which first appeared in April 2011.
